My buddy Jody Hackel invited a few old friends to see Lyle Lovett and his “awesome” big band at Chastain Park in Atlanta. We all showed up at Jody’s house on time and dressed for Chastain. On the way down we realized we weren’t going to Chastain Park but the the Atlanta Symphony Hall, and it wasn’t going to be Lyle and His Big Band but Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt. After a little adjusting of the outfits in the bathroom we were all thrilled to be there….except Jody…he wanted to see the big band.
